Gang of Eight Prevails In Senate Judiciary Committee
Moments after the Senate Judiciary Committee passed the immigration reform bill by a vote of 13-5, spectators in the packed committee room erupted in shouts of “Yes, we can! Si, se puede!”

WASHINGTON, D.C. -U.S. Congressman Paul Gosar, D.D.S (AZ-04) introduced the IRS Anti-Abuse Act, H.R 2025. This legislation makes it illegal to discriminate against organizations and individuals based on political affiliation and ideology. Outgoing IRS Commissioner Steven Miller insisted that the unfair targeting of conservative groups was “absolutely not illegal.” This legislation would make that action illegal. The bill also strengthens legal recourse for those wrongfully discriminated against. Arizona Reps. Matt Salmon (AZ-05) and David Schweikert (AZ-06) signed on as original co-sponsors.
