In just 6 minutes of plain speaking, historian Dr. Steve Carol describes all-too-plausible future consequences of Middle East chaos for Europe and America.

This audio is from the Middle East Radio Forum (June 7, 2015), a weekly radio show from KKNT 960 AM in Phoenix.

Steve Carol has a PhD in History. His specialties are the Modern Middle East, United States History and Government, the World Wars of the …

Roberts Kennedy

In a 5-4 ruling today (June 29, 2015), the Supreme Court rebuked the EPA for failing to consider the cost implications of its diktats on carbon emissions, as the law requires it must.

Justices Roberts and Kennedy joined with the majority in a 5-4 ruling.

Isn’t that a pleasant surprise?

Based on their last Obamacare ruling, one could have expected judicial activists Roberts and Kennedy to rewrite the law on the fly, changing “required” to

In his dissenting opinion issued today in King v Burwell, Justice Scalia delivered a blistering attack on the majority opinion, excerpts of which appear below (emphasis added).

This case requires us to decide whether someone who buys insurance on an Exchange established by the Secretary gets tax credits. You would think the answer would be obvious—so obvious there would hardly be a need for the Supreme Court to hear a case about it. In order to receive …

cruz levin1

VIDEO/AUDIO: Here is a clear explanation by Ted Cruz on what’s behind the “Obamatrade” brouhaha in Washington, including the reasons he changed his vote to NO on the cloture motion to proceed with the Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) bill. This material is from the June 23 edition of the Mark Levin Show.

For Congress, this thing is a big deal — big casino — once again involving a core provision of the US Constitution that all …

trojan horse2

Dear GOP Congressmen and Senators: Sometimes even thoughtful conservatives get carried away. For example, this excerpt is from Tea Party Nation, by Judson Phillips, June 23, 2015, regarding the secret trade legislation moving through Congress.

The danger in so-called “Trade in Services” is that it allows foreign companies to bring in foreign contractors for service industries and replace American workers.  This is done because the foreign workers are cheaper.  This recently happened with Disney in Florida where that company …

Remember the debt clock showing over $18 Trillion in the US operating budget? Remember the unfunded promises in our various entitlement programs totaling $100 – $200 Trillion? Well, the crisis is still there and getting worse day by day.

While our news media (even Fox) focus on Caitlyn Jenner, the Duggar family, and prison escapes, we are paddling toward a fiscal waterfall that will surely swamp every other issue. It will be …

Fiorina2 Fox

Largely unknown and heavily discounted at first, Carly Fiorina has been shining in interview after inteview, which thus far is the only way the electorate knows her.

Check out this interview (in two parts) where she deftly handles every question, getting her points across with clarity, class, and confidence.  She is well-prepared, assertive, and presidential.

Compare Carly’s style to the evasive, tired, dour old Hillary who just can’t be bothered to do interviews. There is no comparison.

When it comes to impressive conservative candidates, the GOP …

Here is George Will, giving the kind of commencement speech I wish more speakers would give at graduation time.

When your progressive/liberal/collectivist/statist/PC/neo-Marxist university sends you their next request for money, you might send them the link to the video.

Or —

You might send them a letter like the one in the article below … this article is copied directly from one that I wrote in June, 2012.

You may have fond memories of college.  I do.  I learned a profession (engineering), I worked hard with …

Standing before that all-too-familiar backdrop that looks like a Muslim-motif shower curtain, President Obama pats himself on the back for making America the “most respected country on earth.”

Say what??

Now that’s gall. That’s chutzpah. And Judge Jeanine’s words and facial expressions tell the story as she hauls him out behind the woodshed, whipping him from pillar to post.

From Fox News’ Justice with Judge Jeanine, Jun 6, 2015

Judge Jeanine Pirro uncorks another “Opening Statement,” lambasting Obama’s pitiful response to the barbaric atrocities of ISIS, that growing death-to-America pseudo-state in the Middle East that will surely attack our homeland.

Let’s hope it’s not a major attack with nuclear weapons, but it looks like nothing else will prompt our Commander-in-Chief to take the ISIS threat seriously.

Even that might not be enough. Thomas Sowell’s greatest fear is that, ostensibly to save lives and “preserve our values,” Obama …
