Boehner Collapse

I lost all hope and respect for John Boehner on January 23, 2014. That’s the night he went on Jay Leno’s Tonight Show and was immediately asked “Would you blame Republicans for the shutdown?”

Incredibly, he answered “Yep, Yep, Yep.” (See video below).

With that collapse and betrayal, the United States Speaker of the House, 2nd in line to succeed to the presidency, signed on to the biggest Democrat false-narrative lie since Obama’s “If you like your plan, you can keep your plan.”

To review, in …

Carson Todd

Remember the Dennis the Menace cartoon strip? A 1958 cartoon shows little Dennis being punished, standing glumly in the corner and telling his dog: “Anybody could have flushed his socks down the toilet! That’s what I should have said!”

The French call this l’esprit d’escalier, or “staircase wisdom.” It refers to one’s ability to think of the perfect retort only when it is too late.

Megyn Carly

She’s known for “having it all” — looks, brains, wit, and charisma. She’s Megyn Kelly of Fox News. But for many, her recent handling of GOP candidate interviews has been truly off-putting.

With ISIS, a nuclear Iran, the debt, Putin’s Russia, illegal immigration, the migrant crisis, and unemployment, voters are trying to learn where candidates stand and what they have to offer. Yet Kelly keeps gravitating to tacky, tabloid, gotcha-style questions that thoughtful viewers care so much less about.

The Sept 15 interview …

Video: Bill Whittle’s View on Donald Trump

Conservatives worry a lot about Donald Trump’s underlying principles.

What they heck are they, anyway? Will they change next week?

Nonetheless, there are some things for conservatives to love about “The Donald” and his campaign, and it’s not just about his campaign that so far is almost exclusively about winning.

Here’s Bill Whittle’s take on Donald Trump:

Cruz 9-12a

“There is no force in all of politics like Republican Women!”

So starts Senator Ted Cruz, 2016 Presidential candidate, at the conference of the National Federation of Republican Women, September 12, 2015, in Phoenix, Arizona (video below).

In this speech, Sen. Cruz lists explicitly what he will on the first day he is elected (watch video for details) —

He will rescind every illegal and unConstitutional executive order that Barack Obama has issued.
He will issue an order to open an investigation into Planned Parenthood …

Pirro 9-12

Judge Jeanine Pirro is in high dudgeon as she clobbers Hillary Clinton for serial deceptions over her improper and illegal use of a private email server to conduct official business as Secretary of State, including insecure storage and transmission of classified material.

It’s not looking too good for Hillary.

As a bonus, watch the video below in which a Hillary Clinton sycophant, liberal talk show host Coco Soodek, tries to defend the indefensible. And immediately after, Ann Coulter provides her review of the …

Video: Donald Trump Interviews Himself on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show

As of this writing, this video has over a quarter-million hits. And that’s in less than 12 hours!

One thing about Donald Trump: he has made politics fun again! Maybe a little silly … but fun!

Carly 9-11

Carly Fiorina turns in another bravura appearance — this time for the National Federation of Republican Women Convention in Phoenix, Arizona, Sept 11, 2015.

Clear, compelling, and confident, Fiorina delivers her key points with the class and dignity we should all expect of a Presidential candidate. She speaks from the heart, with no teleprompter and no notes.

Carly shows her sense of humor too, with some barbs directed toward Donald Trump and, of course, Hillary!

Conservatives have a remarkable field of candidates to choose from this year. Pity the …

Donald Trump

If this poll is accurate, pundits may need to do as Charles Lane (Washington Post) has suggested he should do — hand in his “pundit’s license!”

The poll shows Trump defeating every Democrat with scores like this:

* Trump 45%, Clinton 40%. (There is a 20-point Gender Gap; Trump leads by 18 points among seniors.)
* Trump 44%, Sanders 40%. (Trump leads by 10 among independents and by 6 among moderates.)
* Trump 44%, …

Clear, cogent, and compelling, Newt Gingrich provides insights into the Donald Trump campaign style and message.

While Gingrich is not endorsing Trump (yet), he is a Trump defender. He believes voters see Trump, Carson, Cruz, and Fiorina as a team of outsiders who could “kick over the table” in Washington, and they find that very appealing.

Gingrich has no issue with Trump’s failure to pass Hugh Hewitt’s pop quiz on who General Qassem Suleimani is. This pop quiz failure …
