Trump Calls Planned Parenthood’s Bluff

Domino's came to regret this when customers complained of losing their appetite.

In honor of International Women’s Day*, I’d like to report on Planned Parenthood getting slapped by The Don.  TRIGGER WARNING!

Or…was it?  Geez, where’s Deadpool when you need him?  I know, I know—he’s celebrating that time of the year with Vanessa, in their own…certain way….

But I digress.

Anyhoo, Donald Trump has just thrown the gauntlet down at Planned Parenthood.  So, you’re not an abortion mill industry, you say?  You justify your existence by claiming you provide “all sorts of services for women”, you say…?

Okay, then, says our president: You’ll get to keep all your funding from the federal government—IF…and only if…you shut down, effective immediately, any and all of your abortion “services”.

Here’s PP’s classic response: Cecile Richards, President of Planned Parenthood Federation of America (aka Matriarch of Professional Killers of Baby Girls of America), proclaimed that PP “will always stand for women’s ability to make decisions about their health and lives, without interference from politicians.”

…Except, of course, when said women reside in the womb.  But aside from that, of course, the issue with Richards’s comments is that those “politicians” are the ones, you know, kinda giving her organization the money, in the first place.  And so, as is par for the course with the Far Left, PP wants to have its cake to look at, while scarfing it down.  As in, “Give us the money to function, but don’t question what we do with it!”

“Hey—HEY!  THERE you go!  Just like a Right-wing—sexist—cisgender—patriarch-propagating MISOGYNISTIC PIG!!!”

…What?

“You heard me!  Spreading lies about a great and noble organization—none of that federal money goes to abortions, and you KNOW IT!!!”

Uh…no, actually I don’t.  All we have to go on, with that, is PP’s word.  And…that’s not much to go on.  You see, here’s the $1,000,000 question: If that money doesn’t go to abortions, where does it go?

“What?  Oh, come on—mammograms and prenatal care, you ape!”

Riiiiiiiiiiiiight….

Except, remember, Live Action made all those calls…?  Back in 2011, calling all those PP clinics about whether they provide mammograms, only to be told “no”?  Or as late as this January, calling all those PP clinics about whether they provide prenatal care, only to be told “no”?

Hmm.

Now, again, the $1,000,000 question: If that money doesn’t go to abortions…and it certainly doesn’t go to mammograms or prenatal care…then what’s left?

“Um…duh…birth control?”

Geez, as we’ve made clear ever since Sandra The Fluke made it an issue, you can get the dang Pill dirt cheap.  Without PP’s help, but leave that aside for a sec.  Meantime, folks, PP gets $350,000,000 per year from taxpayers, via the federal government.

Okay…run that through: How many women are there in America?  How many of them use birth control?  How many of those women can’t afford it without PP’s help?  All right, putting all that into the calculator…

That’s a lot of Pills!

Or maybe it goes towards all that advertising—which annually costs less than 1/3 of all that.  And…said advertising centers on A Woman’s Choice (read: abortion) and Women’s Health (read: more bull-crap about mammograms and prenatal care).

So, we’re back to abortion, aren’t we?  Of course, maybe there’s other stuff…but then, we don’t know, do we?  Maybe if the feds were to, you know…audit

Wait.  No…no, we can’t do that.  See, that there would be “interference from politicians”, see.  And we can’t have that—just take PP’s word for it.  It’s not like they lie about what they do…right?

Now, how about that Great, Wonderful Service of abortions that the pseudo-feminists so eagerly tout?  I mean, surely PP could get that $350,000,000 from, say…private contributions from Steinem, Wolf, the NOW gang, Ms. Magazine, and all the rest?  Maybe Hillary could chip in a bit, considering how she so deeply reveres Margaret Sanger?  Or Lena Dun-ham, with all her “regret” that she’s never had an abortion?  Or Ashley Judd, perhaps?  Hundreds of millions, easy!  So what could PP possibly be worried about?

I mean, the self-appointed Matriarchy of feminism can surely be counted on to put their money where their mouths are…right?

*(Yeah, I’m kinda late.  I’ve been more-or-less enjoying the bliss of the Day Without (Feminist) Women, and I guess I overslept a little….)
