Trump Supporters Rally in Phoenix – Photos

Posted: March 4, 2017 at 4:05 pm   /   by

All across the country, March 4 was a day for Trump supporters to rally. On the Capitol Lawn in Phoenix, Arizona, more than 1500 (by my “eyeball” estimate) gathered to celebrate our 45th president and listen to speeches by local politicians.

Motorcycle groups – including Riders USA and Sons of Liberty – showed up in force.

Lots of patriotic families were there too …

And plenty of Latino & Latina Trump supporters.

And lots of home-made signs.

Of course, enthusiastic anti-Trump protesters also gathered, en masse, with their usual eloquent, tastefully worded signs!

Protecting everyone, the Arizona Liberty Guard* was there on duty, fully armed, fit, and keeping order. There were also some rooftop observers, who I’ve been informed were law enforcement officers. Thank goodness none of them needed their armament.

The atmosphere was festive, and the weather was beautiful. The only confrontation I saw was when some anti-Trumpers (about a half-dozen) began chanting Bigot, Bigot, Bigot, pointing fingers at a small group of nearby pro-Trumpers. The pro-Trumpers group drew closer and chanted the same Bigot, Bigot, Bigot, pointing their fingers right back at the anti-Trumpers. After about 15 seconds of both sides chanting in unison, both groups realized how silly they sounded and erupted in laughter and smiles all around.

That’s what I call a peaceful demonstration & confrontation!

*Edited 3/6/2017 – I originally reported the armed troops to be “National Guard,” but it appears they were actually Arizona Liberty Guard. A hat tip to our readers who provided the corrections seen below in our comments section!
