Piers Morgan, Fake News, and Trump’s War on the Media

Posted: February 7, 2017 at 10:00 am   /   by

It happens now and then — a Leftist who simply can’t take it anymore is overcome by conscience and common sense and breaks from Leftist orthodoxy.

In this video, Piers Morgan, formerly of CNN, assails the Leftist media for rank hypocrisy, with special ire for the New York Times. To be sure, most papers lean one way or the other, says Morgan, and everybody knows it. What makes the New York Time special is that they lean far Left, but they persist in denying it.

Years ago, listening to Piers Morgan made my teeth hurt. He probably hasn’t come around on other issues, like the 2nd Amendment, but it’s great to hear him talk rationally about the blatant anti-Trump agenda in American and UK media.

Perhaps Morgan is undergoing his own “fundamental transformation”(?). No doubt he’ll be excoriated by the Left as a traitor to The Cause. That may silence him. Or it may accelerate his transformation. We’ll see.

Maybe this is contagious … Dr. John Bates has just blown the whistle on climate change “scientists” who have perverted science review standards to support a Leftist political agenda (and perhaps to maintain their taxpayer funded grants and budgets). Apparently, like Morgan, Bates just couldn’t take it anymore.

When people like Morgan and Bates declare the emperor has no clothes, it helps others to find the courage to do the same.

Kudos to Mr. Morgan and Dr. Bates!
