Hitler Survivor Katie Worthman: ‘Keep your guns. Buy more guns’
It is arrogant of human beings today to look back at human beings of the past and think that we’re better than they—that somehow, we won’t make the mistakes they made. Sure, we are more advanced technologically, and yes, we’ve got more social experience under our belt, by virtue of the length of years we’ve been around. And maybe that learning and experience will avail us to some degree. But at the end of the day, we’re the same humans. We have the same passions and foibles. And those can lead to predictable patterns and repeats of history.
Austrian immigrant Katie Worthman, survivor of Nazi and Communist occupations of her homeland, has a message to the people of America today. Don’t repeat history. Learn from the past.
Ardently devoted to the cause of human freedom, he has worked at the confluence of politics, activism, and public policy for more than a decade. He co-wrote a ten-part series of video shorts on economics, and has film credits as a researcher on 11 political documentaries, including Citizens United's notorious film on Hillary Clinton that became the subject of a landmark Supreme Court decision. He is the founder of several activist endeavors, including AnyStreet.org (now a part of Western Free Press) and Liberatchik.com. He is currently the managing editor of and principal contributor to WesternFreePress.com.
