Happy Thanksgiving and more from the AZ GOP

Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope you enjoy this holiday with your family and friends as much as I do. We’re thankful for the gifts God has given us, but we’re also thankful for the unique opportunity that each of us has to help to be engaged in our political process in this free land. It’s an awsome responsibility, and I am grateful to you for being on board. Enjoy the holiday!

Asian Community, Business Leaders in GOP Coalition

Dozens of Asian American leaders from Arizona met with us at the AZGOP headquarters in Phoenix this week to welcome each other and strategize for victory in 2014. Barry Wong, Chairman of the AZGOP’s Asian-American Coalition, welcomed leaders from Pakistan, the Philippines,Taiwan, Laos, India, Bagladesh, China, Korea, and Vietnam. Asian-Americans make up Arizona’s fastest-growing ethnic group (article here) and we are more than happy to welcome every freedom-loving American into the Republican Party.

Black History Newspaper Covers Dem’s Racism Charge

The Arizona Informant’s slogan is “We Record Black History” and they say 98% of their news won’t be found in any other news outlet. Here’s a pretty informative story, under the headline “Senate Dems Snatch Divisiveness From Unity.” It features quotes from a Democrat State Senator accusing other Democrats of making leadership decisions based on “racial overtones.” Our previous press release is here and is quoted in the article.

Secretary of State Schedules Campaign Finance Workshops

Campaign finance compliance is an important part of any campaign, and Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett’s staff will be conducting free classes throughout Arizona to help keep everyone informed. Candidates and committee treasurers are especially encouraged to attend, as the workshops will cover the upcoming 2014 primary and general elections.

Green Party Fading + Dem Party’s Debt = GOP Resurgence

The Green Party of Arizona has lost too many voters to be considered a political party. Where will these radical environmentalists go? The Arizona Democrat Party, which does not even have enough popular support to get out of debt, would be moved even further to the left by former Green Party voters. That’s something all voters in Arizona are going to notice when they look to the GOP for leadership on jobs, economy, prosperity and safety.

Obama/Obamacare Failures Strike Fear into Senate Democrats

Republicans know that leadership in public policy is all about supporting good ideas and pushing aside bad ones. But some Democrats are now realizing that what they thought was a good idea (Obamacare) has proven itself to be a terrible one, as survey respondents throughout the country repeatedly say their opinion of “Obama the Untrustworthy” is sinking further and further. In 2014, we’re poised to see real GOP victories throughout the nation and we’re bent on retaking the U. S. Senate. And that encouragement is coming from the Democrats themselves, according to this report in the National Journal.
