Chris Weaver just wanted to protect his property. However, he hurt a pocket gopher and now has a criminal record, spent $7,000 in legal fees, was forced to sell his property at a loss and it took 5 armed Fish & Wildlife agents plus a Thurston County Code Enforcement officer and a search warrant to go after him.
