Margaret, Ronnie and John

| April 10 2013

Facebook conservative patriot Steve Klingensmith penned the take-off below, with “[a]pologies to Dion.”

Has anybody here seen my old friend Maggie?
Can you tell me where she’s gone?
She spoke for lots of people,
When the world needed her, she was strong.
You know, I just looked around and she’s gone.

Anybody here seen my old friend John?
Can you tell me where he’s gone?
He helped free a lot of people,
When we needed him, he was strong.
I just looked around and he’s gone.

Anybody here seen my old friend Ronnie?
Can you tell me where he’s gone?
He gave inspiration to many people,
In the face of Evil, he was always strong.
I just looked ’round and he’s gone.

Some didn’t love the things that they stood for.
Always they did try to find some good for you and me?
So we’d be free
Some day soon, and it’s a-gonna be one day …

Anybody here seen my old friend Andrew?
Can you tell me where he’s gone?
I thought I saw him walk up over the hill,
With Margaret, Ronnie and John.
