Does America need a leader, though? I think if you find anyone claiming to be a “leader” of over 300 million people that such leading can only be done through large amounts of coercion and involuntary association. As far as the sequester and budget woes go, it seems strange calling anyone who contributed to the problem a leader in any sense except leading the charge to federal bankruptcy.

I dislike the phrase “our leaders in Washington.” They do not lead America or “run the country,” they simply steal large amounts of money from us and spend it in any way they believe will help maintain their power. Americans don’t need a leader (unless they freely choose one for themselves and force him/her upon no other); they need to be free to keep their own money and conduct their own business without the federal (or state) government taxing and micromanaging everything.

    1. @TateFegley I pray that I live to see the day when government gets smaller again, and only does a few essential things, leaving everything else to us!
