Bill Cosby says some very rotten things

I loved “Fat Albert” when I was growing up. I loved Cosby’s call for personal responsibility a few years back. But frankly, anyone who says that disagreement with Obama’s policies or vision for America is “sick,” racist, and the equivalent of a segregationist thinking has crossed a very, very bright line.

I am not sure whether to find this tragic or infuriating.

Yes, well back in the early '90s Cosby once remarked to the effect that he believed the stories that AIDS was developed in secret government labs to kill black people, a fact I remind people about when they are ready to lionize him for his remarks about taking responsibility.  He's really not the brightest guy around.

corns GregoryConterio Greg, I am not sure that intelligence is what he lacks. Wisdom and decency seem to be where the deficit lies. Corns, he may be that, but unless there is some specific condition that comes with age that makes people suddenly think evil things, his dotage is no excuse.
