What would have happened to this elderly gent if he hadn’t had a gun?

Why is this so hard for people to get? One shot may not be enough. A bolt-action rifle may not be enough.

The means by which law-abiding people defend themselves is ought to be no concern of the government’s. The only question the government should be asking is whether the act of self-defense is justified.
