AZGOP Chairman hopeful Robert Graham had a busy week last week.  Last week, the local businessman and conservative political activist managed to secure the endorsements of several high-profile Republicans.

Last Monday he announced the endorsement of former Senate President Russell Pearce.

On Thursday he announced the endorsement of Arizona Corporation Commissioner Gary Pierce.

And on Friday, he announced the endorsement of former Congressman and radio-talk show host J.D. Hayworth.

Russell Pearce commented:

“I believe Robert Graham has the ability to work with Republicans across this great state to strengthen this Party and to build on our successes.”

Gary Pierce remarked:

“Robert Graham is the man who can bring PC’s, state committeemen, money, and voters together.”

J.D. Hayworth commented:

“Robert Graham is someone who has demonstrated, through his activism and strict adherence to conservative principles, that he is a true conservative warrior.”

These endorsements add to an already impressive list, including:

  • Maricopa County Chairman Rob Haney
  • Speaker Pro Tempore JD Mesnard
  • Representative Justin Olson
  • Representative Steve Montenegro
  • House Majority Leader David Gowan
  • Senator Lori Klein
Most political observers see Graham as a shoe-in for the top GOP post with current Chairman Tom Morrissey dropping out of the race before Christmas, but Graham will still have competition with the from LD23 Republican Chairman and firearms instructor Doug Little, who threw his hat into the ring recently.
The AZ GOP Chairman election will take place on January 26th.
