Free to Choose, Part 2: The Tyranny of Control

| December 29 2012

Just about a year ago, we posted the first video in the ten-part television adaptation of Milton Friedman’s “Free to Choose.” We have decided to post the rest of the series, sequentially. We realize that an hour is a long time, but if you can make the time, please do. Free to Choose is a seminal work, and these video adaptations make the concepts therein highly digestible. You can always watch the first half, which is the actual TV show, and then skip the Q&A afterwards.

In this installment, Friedman explores examples of what happens when governments attempt to exert greater control over society and the economy.
