From Flake for Senate:
Flake a proven leader on business issues
PHOENIX – Jeff Flake today received the endorsement of two leading business advocacy organizations with the United States Chamber of Commerce and the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry announcing their support for Jeff Flake in the general election race for U.S. Senate.
Both groups praised Flake’s record of support for policies that promote a tax and regulatory environment that enables the private sector to grow the economy and create jobs.
“Congressman Jeff Flake understands what is needed to promote a healthy business environment that will allow this country to get back to fiscal health,” said Dick Castner, U.S Chamber Executive Director, Western Region. “Flake has been a proven leader in the House on issues that are important to America’s businesses, and we believe he will continue that leadership in the Senate.”
“Read any poll and you’ll see that jobs and the economy are the priority issues concerning voters in our state and our country this election. When it comes to strengthening our economy and growing jobs, Jeff Flake will continue his strong record of supporting free-market policies that support job creators and increase our nation’s competitiveness,” said Glenn Hamer, Arizona Chamber President and CEO. “We need Jeff Flake’s voice in the U.S. Senate to push back against an overly intrusive EPA, to advocate for bringing more job-creating mining projects online like the Resolution Copper project, and to fight for Arizona as we seek to make Interstate 11 between Phoenix and Las Vegas a reality and bring new unmanned aerial systems to our airbases.”
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the world’s largest business organization, representing more than three million businesses of all sizes, sectors, and regions. It advocates for pro-business policies that create jobs and grow the economy.
The Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry is the leading statewide business advocate, representing a membership that employs 250,000 Arizonans in all business sectors from manufacturing to services and includes small, medium, and large employers.
Arizona’s Jeff Flake has been a strong ally to the business community throughout his service in Congress. He is committed to supporting policies that reduce spending, lower taxes, and limit burdensome regulation. As the leader in the fight to end earmarks, Flake proved that one man could make a difference. He has previously received the endorsements of the Chandler, North Scottsdale, and Lake Havasu Area Chambers of Commerce.
