Big Solutions vs. No Solutions
Yesterday, human events made the distinction between Romney-Ryan and Obama-Biden, “Big Solutions vs. No Solutions,” using the videos below as illustration.
I know that in a political season, a lot of classic phrases get thrown around: “the party of ‘no’,” “more of the same failed ideas,” etc. In this case, however, the Big Solutions vs. No Solutions theme seems quite apropos. With the addition of Paul Ryan to the team, Mitt Romney has made it clear he intends to go big. Obama, on the other hand, hasn’t once deviated from his hard-left course, in spite of the fact that it is clearly not making anything better, and may in fact be making things significantly worse.
Ardently devoted to the cause of human freedom, he has worked at the confluence of politics, activism, and public policy for more than a decade. He co-wrote a ten-part series of video shorts on economics, and has film credits as a researcher on 11 political documentaries, including Citizens United's notorious film on Hillary Clinton that became the subject of a landmark Supreme Court decision. He is the founder of several activist endeavors, including AnyStreet.org (now a part of Western Free Press) and Liberatchik.com. He is currently the managing editor of and principal contributor to WesternFreePress.com.
