Prager test: Are You a Liberal?
During the second half of my 20s, in lived in Los Angeles, and so, needless to say, I spent a lot of time in my car. Prior to that, I was in Montana, and though I sometimes drove long distances (it’s a huge state!), I didn’t listen to much talk radio. However, within weeks of arriving in Los Angeles, I found Dennis Prager and Larry Elder—and both began to have a positive impact on my ideological development almost immediately. Soon thereafter, I discovered Hugh Hewitt and Michael Medved, and so I was almost never without intellectual and ideological stimulation while behind the wheel. (Did I mention that Angelinos do A LOT of driving?)
I remember when Prager first came out with his “Are you a liberal?” test. It’s as useful and clarifying today as it was then.
Take the test here: http://www.prageru.com/test. Do you think you’re a liberal? If so, is it because you hold liberal positions or is it because you believe that conservatives are selfish and mean-spirited? Watch this video course and then take the test. You might be surprised by the result.
