Yesterday, Mesa businessman and candidate for LD25 state senate Bob Worsley received the endorsement of the Mesa Chamber of Commerce over his opponent Russell Pearce.

The Mesa Chamber of Commerce is the leading advocate of the 15,000 businesses in Mesa, currently the 38th largest city in the United States.

In their endorsement, the Mesa Chamber of Commerce stated that Business Advisory Council and the Chamber Board members have a “passion for the political process and feel strongly about having pro-business candidates represent the interests of chamber members.”

“To date, our campaign to Elevate Mesa and Put Mesa First has received the endorsements of business groups including the Arizona Chamber of Commerce & Industry and the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce,” said Worsley.  “But I am most proud of the endorsement of the Mesa Chamber of Commerce.  Nothing could make me happier than representing the 15,000 Mesa businesses along with all of the other small businesses and employers in our great state at the capitol.  I promise I will do everything I can to help businesses owners and employers be successful and I won’t waste resources of embarrass our community with pursuits of symbolic legislation.”
