Crony capitalism, unfunded pensions, and cobb salad

No really, those things DO go together, as you will see from the ReasonTV video below.

Honestly, we need to look at this video with equal measures of pity and revulsion. It is sometimes hard and sometimes tragic when people lose their jobs, and when industries change to the  point when lots of people have to lose their jobs. But it is also tragic to see this level of misguided thinking.

Crony capitalism:
Congress should pass laws taking taxpayer money to put us to work doing . . . something.

Unfunded pensions:
How DARE congress ask the Postal Service to fund its pensions. Let’s just keep borrowing forever!
