Marana Mayor Endorses Jeff Flake for U.S. Senate

PHOENIX – The Flake campaign today announced that Mayor Ed Honea of the Town of Marana is supporting Jeff Flake in the race to succeed retiring U.S. Senator Jon Kyl this November. In his endorsement, Mayor Honea said:

“I can tell you how important it is to live within a responsible budget.  Unfortunately many our leaders in Washington don’t seem to understand that. Thankfully, Jeff Flake does.
“Jeff has demonstrated courage as a Member of Congress, by standing up to the wasteful, runaway spending and casting lonely votes for the people he represents.  Through his actions, he’s proven that one man can make a difference. We need more leaders like him.
“I urge my fellow Arizonans to join me in supporting Jeff Flake for U.S. Senate.”
