Quayle To Lead Roundtable on “STEM Education in Action”
WHAT: Congressman Ben Quayle will participate in a roundtable discussion, hosted by the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology, with key stakeholders to showcase a variety of public/private partnerships and initiatives that are successfully inspiring the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) workforce of tomorrow.
The purpose of this roundtable is to hold an informative discussion on STEM education and gather information on efforts underway in Arizona. Before beginning the discussion, there will be presentations from students from schools within the Paradise Valley Unified School District. Student mastery of STEM subjects is essential for our 21st century economy. This conversation will provide an opportunity to share best practices and learn about ways to improve STEM education activities outside the scope of the federal government.
