Apache Junction Mayor John Insalaco Endorses Congressman Paul Gosar for Re-Election in AZ-4

Apache Junction, Arizona–Today, Mayor John Insalaco announced his support for Congressman Paul Gosar’s re-election efforts, in the newly drawn Fourth Congressional District.  This new district includes a large portion of the district Congressman Gosar currently represents, including Apache Junction.

Mayor John Insalaco of the City of Apache Junction met Congressman Gosar two years ago when Gosar took on a crowded primary field and won a tough general election to serve rural Arizona.

A strong proponent of Congressman Gosar’s jobs bill the “Southeast Land Exchange and Conservation Act”, which would bring thousands of jobs and billions of dollars to revitalize Arizona’s economy Mayor Insalaco noted that, “One of the first things you realize when you meet Congressman Gosar is his strong character and dedicated resolve to serve the people of Arizona.  He impressed me immediately as someone who is straightforward and truthful.   The work he has done to restore Arizona’s economy with his jobs bill is to be commended. I am proud to offer him my support for his re-election.”

In response to Mayor Insalaco’s support, Dr. Gosar stated, “I may be new to politics but I know that at the heart of every solution is local involvement.  Mayor Insalaco serves his community with a resolve to improve the lives for all he represents.  I am honored to have his continued support and look forward to the opportunity to serve his community another term.”

Mayor John Insalaco has lived in rural Arizona since 1970 and in Apache Junction since 1987 serving as Mayor since 2007. Prior to serving in Apache Junction he served on Globe School Board for nine years and was Citizen of the Year in 1972.
