Newt Gingrich Post-Debate Rally at The Mint, Scottsdale, Arizona, February 22, 2012

Posted: February 23, 2012 at 8:08 am   /   by

Just after the 20th debate of the Republican candidates in Mesa, Arizona, Newt Gingrich joined an enthusiastic rally of several hundred of his supporters at The Mint, a Thai-themed restaurant and bar in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The event was sponsored by Politics on the Rocks. The crowd watched the debate together on multiple screens and cheered for their favorite candidate.

The 7-minute video below contains Newt’s remarks to the crowd. My favorite line:

When you have a left-wing incompetent in the White House, things don’t work. They didn’t work under Jimmy Carter, and they don’t work under Barack Obama. All you have to do is change it, and things start working.
