Posted: February 16, 2012 at 5:00 pm   /   by

On February 11, WFP had the privilege of interviewing Mike McKibben, Chairman and Founder of Leader Technologies of Columbus, Ohio.

Leader Technologies (“Leader”) is in the midst of a high-profile patent infringement suit against Mark Zuckerberg’s Facebook.   The initial trial, in July 2010 resulted in a split verdict.  McKibben goes into details in the interview.  The case is now on appeal, and oral arguments begin in March.

The interview is new, but there is already plenty of information already on the net regarding this controversial case.  Just search on “Facebook Zuckerberg Leader McKibben” to see (1) how the case has been litigated thus far and (2) how it might affect future venture capital formation, patent litigation, inventors’ rights, private/personal information sharing on the net, and more.

In the near future, WFP expects to provide more information and opinion about the issues in this case.
