Rep. Gosar Stands up for Veterans in His District
Yesterday, in the Oversight and Government Reform Subcommittee on National Security, Homeland Defense, and Foreign Operations, Rep. Gosar questioned the witnesses on why it was taking so long for the Department of Defense to communicate with the Veterans Administration on transitioning our wounded warriors from active duty to veteran status. He stood up for the veterans in his district that have experienced paperwork delays between the two agencies of over a year. He argued that the system currently in place hurts veterans and that it is unacceptable for them to have to deal with these delays and lack of communication.
